RAKSHABANDHAN CELEBRATIONS (NURSERY)
Children enjoyed celebrating Rakshabandhan in school. Importance of Rakshabandhan was explained to children. A pair of children were asked to become brother and sister. They demonstrated wherein the sister tied rakhi to the brother, did aarti and fed him sweets and the brother gave a gift to the sister. They made Rakhi by themselves and tied rakhi on their wrist. Grandparents were invited to the class on account of topic of family taught in class. Grandparents' Day was celebrated wherein the grandparents sang songs, lullabies, prayers and also said stories.
