Achiever's Day
Motivational Event of GHS- ACHIEVER’S DAY
“Achievers” yes that’s the name that suited the best to all the children who participated in the interschool events representing their school. This initiative by Miss Caroline and Mrs Rita motivated all the participants and the winners. To start with, all the participants made big banners about their achievements and all those banners were displayed in the school campus and to add on the happiness all the children were called to school to click their group photo. Children were so enthusiastic for that moment. To add to their excitement, our Principal, inspite of her schedule, she very happily clicked selfie with every child. The students felt so proud that they kept these selfies as their status video and display pic. After seeing the happiness of these young stars, Miss Caroline decided to let these children have a party in the school.
It didn’t excite only these children, but also the parents. This get together organized for felicitating the young versatile stars was a superb initiative by school supported by the parents. This felicitation boosted the confidence of all the children and made them realize that their hard work will never go wasted. It was an excellent appreciation move by Miss Caroline. The talents of these achievers will definitely go hidden if these platforms are not offered. One thing as a parent I realized, that the teachers working behind these children were the best critics and they left no space for errors. They have dedicated their time so selflessly and dedication. It goes without saying that these children would not have been able to showcase their talents had it not been for the encouragement and motivation by all our multitalented teachers and it proves that the influence of teachers is a must even beyond the classrooms. The confidence that these children have gained after this party is something that we as parents would be able to inculcate in them. This shows the influence of school on every child is the most important part of their success.
Last but not the least, may be Thank You is a very small word but yet it is coming deep from our heart. A big thank you to our school – Greenlawns High School-Warden Road, Our very keen Principal – Miss Caroline Vaz, our most experienced teacher and Backbone of Interschool Competition – Mrs Rita Murarka, our Creative Teacher Mrs Nivedita, the Digital World of our school – Mrs Sharon Carol, the Dance Master – Miss Kadambari, our Sports Coach – Sir Shekhar, our Master Chef – Mrs Amrita and of course all the teachers and team of GHS.
We as parents assure the school to keep the same spirit.
