RANGOLI COMPETITION - WARDEN ROAD
children of Greenlawns High School unfolded their abundant creativity through the celebrations of this year’s ‘Children’s Day’.Rangoli, a traditional art form that uses coloured powder, brightens up an occasion and is believed to be a harbinger of good luck. Keeping this in mind, under the guidance of our Principal Ms.Caroline Vaz, the talent and creativity of the students was well brought out in an Interclass Rangoli Competition organized on 15th November, 2021.
Owing to the current scenario, we decided to conduct this on a virtual platform wherein the students could make their rangolis in the comfort of their homes. The students used different materials like fruits, vegetables, flowers, leaves, pulses , grains, waste materials etc to create their rangolis. Each rangoli was unique in its own way which made it difficult for the judges to pick a favourite. Some rangoli designs depicted nature while some were simply aesthetic. The virtual celebration was brimming with festive cheer from students and teachers.
The children were thrilled to receive Faber Castell stationery as a token of love from the school management. Our dedicated team of teachers - Ms. Vrushali, Ms.Fatema, Ms.Meena and Sir Krishnakant organised this celebration smoothly.
