Interhouse Masterchef Competition(Primary Section)
Greenlawns High School hosted a Masterchef competition on Monday 12th August 2024, showcasing the talents of its students. The participants displayed their creativity by making delicious mouth-watering recipes
The judges Ms Vanessa and Ms Amrita assessed the participants on various criteria such as the selection of ingredients, theme, taste, neatness and presentation.
The teachers in charge of this event Ms Estalita, Ms Shama, Ms Shivani and Ms Manisha put forth tremendous efforts to ensure the smooth execution of the competition, resulting in a memorable and successful event for all involved.

Inter House Hindi Debate Competition
2024-25
Inter House Hindi Debate Competition was held for classes 8th,9th and 10th on 6th August 2024 .To hone their public speaking skills. The speakers of all the houses spoke eloquently on the topic “. क्या क्रिके ट खिलाख़ियों को खिलने वाला फं ड अन्य िेलों
के खिलाख़ियों के िुकाबले न्यायसंगत है ?”
Both the proposition and opposition strongly put up their points with valid evidences. The audience participated in the rebuttal round patiently.
Niket Somai of class VIII A was adjudged the best speaker.

Interhouse Hindi Elocution (Primary Section)
The Inter house Hindi Elocution Competition was conducted on the 2nd of August , 2024. The time allotted to each participant was 2 to 3 minutes and the students were judged by Miss Samreen and Miss Mona based on the selection of the poem, clarity, expressions, voice modulation, diction and pronunciation. The competition was conducted by Miss Mohini and Miss Bhumika. Each and every participant performed brilliantly with great enthusiasm.

Middle School English Elocution
On 19th July the school held an English Elocution for the middle school. Students were given three minutes time to narrate or recite their piece of choice and they did a fantastic job doing so. All the children were enthusiastic and delivered their speech extremely well with the correct diction and pronounciation.

Inter house flower arrangement competition-Primary Section
The inter house Flower Arrangement Competition for the primary section was held on 5th July, 2024. The competition was organised for grade 4 to enhance their creativity. The participants used their imagination and amazing ideas to design their arrangements. Students actively enjoyed participating in the competition. Our respected Principal Ms Caroline Vaz and judges all praised the creative skills of the students .

On June 28th, 2024, our school hosted the English Elocution Competition for the primary section, bringing together young students to showcase their public speaking skills. The event featured speeches across various genres, including persuasive, informative, and narrative.
Participants were judged on clarity, expression, pronunciation, and overall presentation. The competition highlighted the importance of effective communication and provided a platform for students to express their ideas confidently.

Inter English Handwriting Competition-Primary Section
Good Handwriting is very crucial in showcasing one’s uniqueness, individuality and organized way of thinking to the outside world. Inter House English Handwriting Competition for Std.2, 3, 4 was held on 18/04/2024 and Std.1 was held on 1st July, 2024 with a lot of enthusiasm and zest. The students of the Primary section exhibited excellence in presenting their neat and fantastic handwriting. This competition motivates students to improve their handwriting and also creates a base for the further Inter School events held in future.
