CHESS COMPETITION

We are glad to share a proud moment of us that our student *Tvesha Jain* claimed 

_Bronze Medal_ 🏅 in the Nationals School Chess Championship 2022 in U7 Girls category held in Bhubaneswar.

Tvesha played with top selected players from different states of India. who all are well trained and experienced.

All Indian states took part in this prestigious tournament.

Tvesha Jain

One more achievement for the City Girl, making everyone proud by her performance. Tvesha Jain won Gold Medal in Mumbai District Chess Association U-8 Girls which was held on 5^th March,2022.

As we say Keep Learning- Keep Growing. Tvesha played Maharashtra State U-8 Girls Chess Championship 2022 at Pune where she competed with 60 players of same and elder age player. She still left her mark by bagging 3^rd Rank trophy.

Dhairya Shah

We are glad to share another proud moment for us that our student Dhairya Shah from Kindergarten 2 has won 4 medals in multiple Inline Roller Skating competitions held in Mumbai during 2021 and 2022.

Dhairya participated in the Under 5 year’s age group where he secured 3 Silver and 1 Bronze.

Details of the competitions and medals are below:

Competition Name: Inter-Club Roller Skating Championship 2021 organized by Zia’s Academy of Roller Skating (ZARS) on 17^th Dec 2021 at Somaiya Skating Rink (Sion).

• Dhairya won the 2^nd position in the 200 meters inline roller skating race and 3^rd position in the 400 meters inline roller skating race.

Competition Name: Speed Skating Championship 2022 organized by The Skate Academy in association with Somaiya Vidyavihar University and Somaiya Sports Academy on Saturday, 26th Feb 2022 at Somaiya Skating Rink (Sion).

• Dhairya won the 2^nd position in the 200 meters inline roller skating race and 2^nd position in the 400 meters inline roller skating race.

We are very thankful to Greenlawns High School, Principal Miss Caroline Vaz & Teachers for giving support in all possible ways.

We are also very thankful to our coach and mentor Mr. Zia Shaikh (founder of Zia’s Academy of Roller Skating) who has trained Dhairya and made him capable for participating in the competitions.
